I earned a graduate degree as a Master of Social Welfare at UCLA and Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Boston College. I hold Licenses in Clinical Social Work with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and New York Education Department of the Professions. My expertise comes from years as a case manager and therapist in the Los Angeles Unified School District and helping clients in community mental health and private practice. I am EMDR trained by the EMDR Institute, the organization founded by the originator of this therapy practice, Francine Shapiro.

My focus is on progress from session to session so you feel confident in yourself and relationships. Through EMDR we will target difficult past experiences and present triggers. It also includes belief restructuring, grounding techniques, and visualizing future responses. CBT provides thought reframing and behavioral tools. Improved self-awareness, empathy, communication, and boundaries are the key. These can be areas of discussion for our sessions along with your most pressing concerns. All clients deserve a therapist that shows empathy and acceptance. I look forward to finding the right plan unique to your goals.

I am licensed to provide telehealth (video or phone) services to any California resident.
